Sound Decisions: Professor Janine Chow Talks Sound Design on Podcast

"The history of listening changed significantly with the Industrial Revolution … and radio, film and television have all taught audiences conventions of how to listen,” says Janine Chow, an assistant professor in the Department of Theater and an experienced sound designer. Theatre M.F.A. Student Receives 2025 Artists 360 Award

The Department of Theatre congratulates Basil Parnell, currently an M.F.A. playwriting candidate, on receiving the Mid-America Arts Alliance Artists 360 Graduate Student Artist Grant.

The program awarded $5,000 to five practicing graduate student artists and provides professional development support to these degree-seeking artists enrolled in Northwest Arkansas higher education institutions.
