Auditions for Fall 2026 Theatre Productions
April 20-21, 2026
The Department of Theatre will hold general auditions for Fall 2026 Productions, April 20 and 21 at Global Campus Theatre. Call-backs will begin the evening of Wednesday, April 22 through April 26. Please plan to be available evenings of the entire week for call-backs. In alignment with the Department’s Inclusive Casting Resolution, we strongly encourage all students to audition—theatre majors and non-majors as well as all current students regardless of declared major are eligible to audition.

Love/Sick by John Cariani
- Directed by Morgan Hicks
- Rehearsals Period: August 17 – Sept 24
- Performance Dates: September 25 – October 4
- Venue: Global Campus
- Nine short, comedic plays that explore the joys and pains of love and relationships, presented as a romantically absurd and funny tragedy.
Lend Me a Soprano by Ken Ludwig
- Directed by David Reed
- Rehearsals Period: September 28–November 21
- Performance Dates: November 13–22
- Venue: UT Theatre
- In this madcap farce, high stakes mishaps and misunderstandings surround an accidental overdose spun to look like a suicide – which doesn’t turn out to be quite as deadly as everyone originally thought.
STEP ONE: PREPARE
- For your audition package, please prepare 2 contrasting monologues totaling up to 3 minutes in length
